Default spray die???

so ive been wanting to change the interior color of my car from red to black... without spending a grand on the plastics alone! I found some spray ment just for it. It goes on the plastic as well as the carpet and seats. It claims that it dosent rub off or anything and that its a permanent change. My questions is have any of you tried this stuff or know somebody who has? before i go to do all this i want to make sure its worth the time. The cans are only 6 bucks a piece. So its cheap. I found them on detailyourcar.com. Lemme know.

In the body shop we used PPG's interior paint and as long as it was preped well it stuck well. And the carpeting soaks it in so it wont rub of that.

I've never used the stuff, but does it make the interior smell like paint fumes?

I have never done seats and would think the the material will just keep soaking up the color. Specialy if its red now and you are going black. When I have done this I stripped everything out. The carpet I used air and blew most the dirt out and then a high pressure washer and then let it dry. Then paint. Plastics I washed with a scrub brush and Tide detergent. Then used some prep/blend liquid for extra measure and a grey scotch brite pad. You have to test the area with the pad though because it may be to harsh for the type of plastic and scuff it deep leaving scars. Then wipe it down with a plastics prep liquid. It is a weak prep solvent for use with plastics so they wont melt. Then paint. There are even adheasion promoters for plastics in a spray can that may help. One light to medium coat of it and it bonds well to the plastics and helps the paint to bond better.
