Default Some things to do to get more HP??

The 91 Rally sport has a 305 v-8 and has decent power but not really what I would like. What are some things I can do or parts I can buy to add 30-50 more HP? Please direct me to source where I can purchase the items.
Sorry for all the newby questions but your help is appreciated.

thanks,
fisherman

TBI is Throttle body injected (looks like an electrically controlled 2 barrel carb)

TPI is Tuned Port Injection

well, if you can pay 300 to 500 dollars, you can get a replacement 670cfm throttle bodie out of the jegs or summit magazine. but before you look into that, it is a lot easier and cheaper to take car of exhaust first. look into try-y headers, they give awsome off the line performace. but four into one headers work fine too. try to get them ceramic coated. a nice pair of ceramic coated headers will cost you 289.00 out of the jegs magazine. you can also get exhaust kits for it. because 3rd generations are extremely difficult to have true duals, make as much power as you can by having a single 3 inch, and break it into two with a y pipe and put two straight through mufflers on each one. another thing is to look into ignition upgrades. a high performance coil will cost you about 30 to 60 dollars. mine is an msd blaster coil, putting out 49,000 volts, compared to the stock 35000. also, try getting a k&n and even a little fuel cooler. fuel coolers are simple, but effective. i hope i can be of help and welcome to CF
