a**holes nah i'm kiddin, sorry been workin on the car. Now as for the engine not being able to break a drive line? really? Fine i'll take the hit now, but when i dyno it i'll let yall know the specs. anyways i made me another drive line it works just fine, what happen with the last one was that i cut and welded the front. BTW My grandfather showed me how to do this. *he has not bought a driveline since 1966 when he quit racing* So i cut it up re-welded it, and blah O works great. Now as for the 700R4 i think there pieces of ****, but thats my personal opinion. The 700R4 had been rebuilt about 17,000 to 20,000 miles before i did the swap. And no i did not balance the driveline. Just going about it the old school way. Thanks for the help though

funny how people think the 700r4 is crap compared to a th350, even though its the same internals with just an overdrive and a cable instead of a vacuum modulator. and try using the word driveshaft

fine fine, alright maybe its the fact that i'm new to chevys still and i hear nothing good from any of my personal sources about a 700r4 or a 305. BTW my 'driveshaft' is workin great.

i was always told the 700r4 is the same/very similar. But im gona say its not becuase there is a 4l60 and a 4l60e so im going to guess there are some differences. But i don't know crap about transmissions really so u might not want to listen to me.

The 700r4 is not a manual version of the 4L60e. They are very similar but not interchangeable. The 700R4, which was renamed 4L60, is mechanically controlled and uses a TV cable, while the 4L60e is electrically controlled by the PCM, and does not use a TV cable.

I think he meant not computer controlled when he was talking manual version.
