Default service port on a/c leaks

the low pressure valve on my a/c leaks out of the valve body. the cap doesnt seal it very well. some fiddling with a pair of pliers got it to stop though. i know they sell them at walmart for $9. im wondering if its possible to tighten the valve in it, or if i will have to replace it when the system runs out of pressure?

Its just a shrader valve like in the tires valve stem. Get a tool to tighten it. Don't break it. If it still leaks then you will need to replace it.

Some places like maybe pimp boys have the tool in the ac section to. They may have a double sided kind with two different sizes. I think I got mine from there.
