Default Seeking 20+ year old information

I'm trying to find ecm pinout sheets and looking for an alternative to completely disregarding the funcationality of the oem operating system in my car. The trouble I'm having is that the ecm needs vehicle speed info. The electronic speed sensor is in the speedometer. Without the info, my tcc wont lock and can cause other driveability issues. I want aftermarket gauges as a 25 year old speedometer does not match the rest, nor does it function as well anymore. I could possibly adapt something instead of getting a stand alone tcc controller if I can find the info I need.

microkid- Can you please post what year and options (engine / trim package / transmission) the vehicle has? An ECM p/n might also be helpful. I will get you an answer if possible, but may be next week before I can track it down. Even then, a pinout schematic will likely have to be scanned from a paper manual (if vehicle is really 25 yrs old) and then sent electronically somehow.....
