Default rust repair

I need some help. The rust in a couple of areas of my Camaro need repair. Under the spare tire panel and at the rear of the front fender where it attaches to the body. I need pictures of these areas in order to fabricate pieces to weld in. If anyone has their fenders off I need a look see straight on and from below, same for the spare tire panel. Any help would be appreciated. Email me direct with pics if you can. globb@295.ca

Those pics look to be his quarter panels. at least the top pic is. But what he expects to get from a good pic I don't know. A picture may be worth a thousand words but seeing it in person is priceless. He should go to a wrecker and either get a body. I purchased an empty shell for $300 before. Or have them cut off the *** end and he can use it for patch panels. Any time I had to make patch panels I never got a picture and it looks like he has enough to look at on one side

The lower rear quarter section you see will be replaced as will the front fenders. The issue is that where they attach to the body is also rusted. In my area in Quebec and eastern Ontario we dont see 3 Gen Camaros in wreckers, just dosnt happen, good for Camaros bad for guys like me with hopes of a good restoration when they dont make reproduction parts required. So I need to fabricate pieces myself as you can see in the picture from the underside of the spare tire panel. Where the rear of the front fender attaches to the body it is also rusted out beyond recognition in front of door. Pictures will help me assess the problems better. Rest of the car body is in fairly good shape.

Thanks

Greg

Here is a picture of what I have to work with in front of the door. You can see it is rusted out. I would like to see what it is supposed to look like before trying to repair it. A picture would be good.

Thanks

its a good bet that if thats that bad its into your floor boards atleast the pinch weld and most likely into the firewal, the only proper way to do it, is to cut it out and either form your own peices or travel south and cut some off a junker. no real other way around it other than a body shop which you';ll be looking at some $$$ but youll know its done right.

also once u do get this done, might wanna looking at spraying the bottom with rubberized undercoating, similar to what they use in truck beds, they sell it in spray cans or alot of the shops that do truck beds will also do your underbody and wheel wells.
