as some of you know, im slowly trying to make my RS into an IROC clone, minus the driveline, i wanna keep the motor thats in it aside from a different intake.

but my question is, is the "body kit" the same on the IROC as whats on my RS? or cant you tell from the pic? i can get a bigger one if needed. It would just save me a lot of time and money if it were. To my naked slightly untrained eye, it looks the same, but different at the same time..

 

The ground effects are the same size. But I don't remember if an Iroc emblem will fit were the RS one is. Does it sit in a recessed area like the early Z28's did?

 

yea its slightly recessed, maybe an 1/8"? little bit more maybe

 

im not 100 sure on the rs, but i know on the 88 basecoupe(the year they had ground effects) there were only two differences, one was the plasce where the badges went on the front ground effects(side skirts) and the other was where it went on the back bumper. i beleive its the same on the rs, but im not sure as i seem to rember someone else on here putting z28 badging on their rs with no problem at all. appearance wise thou their the exact same.

i have an 88 and i put the iroc emblems on. they fit fine. no differences.

 

realy? i had a buddy who had a 88 and tried to put z28 emblems on it, and they didnt fit right the z28 emblems were shapped where the camaro emblems were rounded i think.?

 

they're really tight but they got in.

Yes 350rs they will fit! have turned my rs into a Z-28 clone complete with the 3rd brake light in the wing, hated it in the upper inside hatch, blocked vision and was basically "GAY". Only hard thing was the little nuts on inside of the rocker panels.
