Default removing an engine out of 87 camaro z28

I have a 1987 camaro z28 5.0 tbi im planning on taking the engine out, its my first camaro n engine removing my question w my 5.0 tbi how hard is it to remove the engine I have a cherry picker anything n advice would be very helpful thank you

Agree with Craby. If you are placing the same motor/style setup back in, make sure to label everything. I recommend colored zip ty's with a master notebook explaining what each is. Example double red=knock sensor.

Take a few photos if you think too much time will pass and make your memory foggy. Take the time now to figure out if you are pulling motor/trans as a unit, or separate. Do be careful if you've never done this before. It took me three nights after work (5-8 PM) to pull motor, radiator, trans, driveshaft, etc.

try to cut as little as possible, label everything, and use pb blaster when needed. theyre really not all that hard
