Default Rear shocks

Anyone replaced their rear shocks lately. What kind did you get and how much did you spend?? I have a 1990 RS convertible.

About 20 bucks each. About 30 mins each side. Hardest part is getting at the upper nut in the rear wheel well....gotta crawl into the back seat.....

the sensa trac shocks and struts by monroe are the best that oreilly offers that they have on hand. we ( oreilly ) can order better ones. i put a set of the sensa trac struts up front and i was happy with them. but thats about it. if you have any kinda serious want for control ( auto cross or something of the sort) you will want to buy better ones

F*&K those monroes. They are just cheap azz shocks and struts. I have had the best luck with KYBs'. They are about as good as bilsteins but less costly. Probably mostly due to thier more universal fit where bilstein has one shock or strut for each application including left and right side.

Good for him. I hate both munroe and gabriel with a passion.

since you work for O'reilly's maybe you would know. Did they buy out CSK?
