Default Rear-end Question

I have a 1984 Camaro Z/28 with a L69 305 that I'm putting a 350 in. The 350 is gonna make approx. 300 h.p. Does anyone know what rear end gear came stock in an '84? Would I be safe to leave the stock rear end or what should I upgrade to?

Thanks

Default RE: Rear-end Question

The L69 engine had three different gear ratios;
5-SP 3:73
700R4 Auto 3:42
700R4 Auto 3:73 (G92 option)

All are 10-bolt rears and they may or may not have the G80 Limited Slip (it was a option).
With a 350 making 300 HP at the flywheel any of the rearswill be fine. Unless you do something Dumb.
