Default Rear end question

I want to convert my rear drums to discs. And I was wondering if it was cheaper to buy an axle equipped with discs, if so what year and modle came with rear discs. Or would it be easier to just convert them to discs and what do I have to get.

If you can grab a rearend out of a 4 wheel disc car then I would go that route, You will probably get a better gear ratio as well.
Remember, you will also need to change out the proportioning valve to the 4 wheel disc version.

Go to thirdgen.org and check the brake form for info on brake conversions. I am not a fan of of 4th gen gen rear swaps due the difference in the overall width of the rear ( 4" wider then then the 3rd gen )....
