radiator fan switch
anybody know where the radiator cooling fan switch is? i got a new one that turns on at 190 degrees instead of 225 degrees, but cant find it on the 'maro. i have an 89 rs t-top 2.8L v6

I don't think the 89s had a seperate cooling fan temp s/w. I'm quite sure the ecm turns the fans on/off but does get its info from the CTS (coolant temp sensor). If that is what you are talking about then it is next to the t-stat housing outlet(top rad hose)on the drivers side.

the 89 have one. Look on the block. Probably below one of the heads. Mine is on the passenger side below the number 6 cylinder. Get yourself one of those Haynes books. They are a HUGE life saver when you need them. Saved me about 1300 bucks with a heater core change from the dealer. MORE than paid for itself in ONE project

found it...in case anybody needs to change theirs its located on the engine block, passenger side right next to the dip stick tube for the oil. its in a really bad place, cant get any tools to it....
