I currently have a V6 in my 1983 camaro. Im not quite sure exactly what size but its a V6. But i am droping a 350 into it. Am I going to have to get a new radiator?

Yes, I would relpace that 27 yr old radiator. The inside and cooling fins have to blocked with crud. I was shocked to see the front of mine when I replaced it. 40% of the front coolng fins were blocked with heavy crud, because you can't see the front part..

The way the radiator is covered on these cars the front is hidden. When I had mine replaced due to a lower leak and seen all that curd especially behind the a/c condenser. I knew I found the cooling problem I was chasing for years. I hosed down that area quite often, but it did not help.
No problems now with the new radiator even with the a/c running 100% and it has been over a year now.
My opinion now is this could be the cause of numerous cooling problems on these cars.

Well I blew my radiator up, just got it this last Thursday and went down the alley and BBBOOOOOMMM!! and then steam:
Blew the upper left side wide open.
Ordered a Northern All Pro 205062 this last Friday, and got it today. Hopefully the weather clears up this evening so i can install it.

How do you DESTROY a Radiator in that short period of time???????

lots of driving. i put 40k miles on my blazer in just a year. ive learned the hard way not to buy the cheapest parts availible. now if it has a lifetime warrenty, sure, ill buy it, and itll go back in 2 years when it goes bad
