quick help
You don't "need" subframe connectors. Its nice for sure, but not a necessity. What you need is a plan to do everything correct. There are two types....bolt in and weld in, there are a few manufacturers that make them....budget around $500 total for everything.
No such thing as "too much engine", only "not enough preparation" so the car can handle it.
You'll want to tie the frame together with the engine you're going with.

i have not installed my subframe connecters, but im also not drag racing it either. i got umi connectors as theyre designed to clear stock exhaust, but my exhaust setup wont be anything like stock. spohn offers a very nice subframe connector that wont hurt ground clearance as it runs parallel to the frame and becomes a good jacking spot along the rocker panel
Thank you for the tips I tried this same engine in a 89 Rs got it started but never met the road the body was rusted pretty bad I got a th350 trans with a 3200 stall new re-enforced torque arm and cross member 4 core aluminum radiator and duel electric fans and I a half roll cage any other tips or anything else I should look Into??
