Default quick help

Im putting a 383 stroker in my 91 Rs but I need subframe connectors correct? How much would that cost?

You don't "need" subframe connectors. Its nice for sure, but not a necessity. What you need is a plan to do everything correct. There are two types....bolt in and weld in, there are a few manufacturers that make them....budget around $500 total for everything.

i would get the bolt in and weld them also that way you have a failsafe if a bolt breaks or a weld snaps you have the other there

The 383 is dyno out to 434hp and 454 trq am I still good??

thats a lot of tq on a unibody id get them if not for the tq than for the handling with all that power

Ok cool thanks any other tips? The body is in great condition southern car never been In a accident and no rust at all

U think the engine might be to much for the car?

No such thing as "too much engine", only "not enough preparation" so the car can handle it.
You'll want to tie the frame together with the engine you're going with.

i have not installed my subframe connecters, but im also not drag racing it either. i got umi connectors as theyre designed to clear stock exhaust, but my exhaust setup wont be anything like stock. spohn offers a very nice subframe connector that wont hurt ground clearance as it runs parallel to the frame and becomes a good jacking spot along the rocker panel

Thank you for the tips I tried this same engine in a 89 Rs got it started but never met the road the body was rusted pretty bad I got a th350 trans with a 3200 stall new re-enforced torque arm and cross member 4 core aluminum radiator and duel electric fans and I a half roll cage any other tips or anything else I should look Into??
