Default Question on TPI

Okay so I'm putting in a TPI system in my 90 5.0 TBI RS Camaro. My question is, what other parts do I need to change besides the computer. Do I need to change the fuel pump, the coil, the distributor? Does anyone know how much horse power this will add?

yes you need to change the pump otherwise you wont get the right amount of pressure for the TPI, and the HP gains are minimal, IMO this swap is not worth it. there are plenty of cheap/free mods for the TBI, and a mild cam and heads would help alot. i have a link for a TBI site that will tell you how to get anywhere from 300-400 hp out of your TBI depending on your $$ situation

you will deff need a fuel pump, computer and wiring harness. The TPI has more sensors for injectors, and the fuel mapping is different than the TBI. It all depends, im not too sure, because i usually just put an aftermarket FI system on like edelbrock which gives you everything you need.
