Default Question regarding the Oil sending unit.

I got an 89' Camaro RS 305 new motor. I was in the process of changing out the Oil sending unit but I put a wrench to the thing and turned the wrench twice and the bolt stripped out on me. Cheap aluminum! LOL. Is there a way I could get that sucker off? I'd appreciate some answers I just don't want to make things worse. I attached some pictures.

For being a "new motor" it sure is awfully mucked up. Try an oil pressure switch/sending unit socket, it will give you a better bite than a wrench.

Thanks for the answer and yeah it's leaking oil. Doesn't help that my yard is mostly dirt haha
