so ive decided im gona go buy me a little economy car (still a chevy, NO imports in my name) and pull the 350 out of my 89. Long story short im gona add a lot of power to it. first thing being a stroker kit. Now, where would i get a good one of these without spending HUGE wads of money? All and all im thinkin ill do the kit, heads, a dual 4bbl intake, a MEAN cam, pistons, and probably a bigger radiator and oil pan to keep the thing running good. Obvouisly ill have to do work on the driveline as well, but thats to be expected, i was thinkin turbo 400 tranny, aluminum driveshaft, and a 4.11 rear end most likely. This will be done over years and years, but as some of you know, im a planner, not a fly by the seat of my pants kinda guy. So right now all i am wondering about is the stroker kit??

 

hate to break it to you but you will be spending wads of money for all of that stuff. atleast 3,000 i bet

 

oh yea i know it, it will probably be 8000 in the engine if i take it easy. So it may just be a stroker, but anyway i look at it, when i pull it, its getting the kit, cam, intake, and heads. I may just knock off some of the real high performance stuff.

 

Check out local machine shops. You may find a good 400 crank and heads.
