that port you showed is for the egr. that wont effect if the engine runs or not, just the egr function. since you have the manifold off, can you look into each port in the intake or run something through it? look into each port in the head to see if you can see the valves. im still saying your issue is simply timing. if you backfired out of the carb, then you have spark and fuel and its connecting between the cylinder and carb, just not at the right time

I haven't tried running anything through the ports I will try that... Im not sure if it was a backfire or not it was a poof wail I was cranking through front flap...It could be timing I not going to put that out at this point.
Give me a break...I was talking about doing my own work on my own cars. When it comes to rice burners I know nothing about them and thus I would take it to a mechanic. I posted this thread for Any Insight into my problem not to argue about a comment I made on a thread I started for information propose only. If I was going to take my car to a mechanic don't you think I would have done so already instead posting a problem on here?
What exactly do you mean by that comment, there is nothing wrong with mechanics, IMO they know more about the problems your having than you do. And what does rice burners have to do with mechanics? No one ever mentioned rice burners

OK I ran water through the intake with it off the motor and everything came out alright. I had someone watch wail I cranked the motor over and my lifters are moving. I looked into the ports on the heads and nothing was clogged just seen a little build up on the valves. I shot some ether in each valve and Im going to let it sit over night. I'm thinking it might be a timing issue...more less I hope thats what it is.
