I was at a job site today and got my car all muddy... I wanted nothing more than to clean it, but on my way home, it was sleeting/snowing... Now its going to just have construction dirt on it I guess..

89 RS. 350 5 speed. FRESHLY ADDED dent in the side... literally did that tonight. As you can tell im real happy about that... [sm=smiley35.gif][sm=smiley35.gif]Hooker headers is all i got for mods so far, but its a screamer none the less.

I was out riding my Ducati with my brother one day and we were in farm country and there was some mucky water/cow dung stuff crossing the entire road and it slung up all over the side of my bike. My brother looked and ask "do you want to go home and wash it?" []Yeah! []

 

I am as of the moment, in the process of putting on a spoiler from a Firebird, I will defenitely post pictures of it when I get it done.. I just had to come inside for a bit to warm up and wait for my bondo to dry.. I just also realized that I didnt post a picture of the messed up quarter panel that it going to have to be pulled out with a frame machine.. I will post pictures of that too.

 

hey 89rs according tobasically every sight and bookyou couldn't get a 5 speed with the L98 350. is it a crate 350. if not then you don't have a 350.

 

The RS had a V6 or an optional 305. And no Z28 hood. You can see some onechanged the hood. The engine could have been changed also. The owner should know what he has better than any of us.

 

but you could only get the 305 tbi with the rs right? and its true that you couldn't get the 350 with a 5 speed right?

 

yea its a after market 350. and the hood is off an IROC, obviously. That 350 puts out about 300 i think stock. probably down around 280 or less since im running the TBI unit off of the original 305. the previous owner must have had the computer tweaked to run the 350 as well as it is.

 

The 350 put out too much power for the T5 tannys so that is why they would only come in automatics.
If the previous owner did the swap correct he changed the injectors, ESC, knock and computer to 350 parts. You could get a 350 TBI in a pick up.
