theres a connection "port" ( ill call it that cause im a lil buzzed with this stuff im takin right now.. lol ) on the drivers side fairly close to the brake booster that the harness is connected to... what is that? im gona guess its for the gauges and lights and all those other switches. but when i looked at it, it ties into the engines harness. i can take a pic later if you need it, but i dont have one now.

 

Knowing what year car and engine will help.

The part that goes through the firewall? That is the bulkhead connector. Half of it will be headlight/ marker lightwiring and the other half will be engine wires (gauges, starter...)

 

hmm. well... i hope that stuff is on the new harness...

 

All that stuff stays with the car. Your TPI harness will head over the other direction to the computer.

 

its weired though, the engine harness ties up with the harness that goes to what was the mystery port

 

Power to the computer maybe some of it??? I think if you try though you can seperate them.

 

yea, ill look into it. hopefully they arent spliced into another wire or something.
