Ok here is the 91 Z28 5speedi picked up from my buddy in arizona. It needs some body work but he took good care of it. New zoom clutch, 3 inch exhaust with flowmaster muffler, new a/c accumulator and compressor R12, B&M short shifter, It also has headers, some type of roller rockers, under drive pulleys, and MSD wires. It actually pulles pretty darn good for a 305. Im hoping one day to get an LS1 with a 6 speed installed [8D]Tell me what you guys think, should i paint it black or keep it white? The headliner is also falling down so im contemplating whether or not to restore the interior or gut it. Sorry for the crappy phone pics, i dropped my digital camera in the river.

looks pretty sharp there, aside from the dents. but that gona happen. I would deff try and pull that dent out of the fender before buying a new one and all. Isnt as hard as it looks. as for that ding or whole in the front bumper.. probably just gona have to replace that. Most places will charge just as much to repair it as it would cost to buy a used one in good shape and have it repainted.

 

Yeah the body shop said they could pull the dent in the fender out fairly cheap, the front bumper is fine actually, just paint chipping.
Thanks for the good info, any idea on what i should do about the headliner? Is it possible to take off the lining and re-glue it or is there a company that sells new headliners?

 

for all the hassel, just buy a new headliner. you can find them on ebay ready to go. meaning all you have to do is put it on the car.
