Default Pics of new project car 69 camaro (lots of pics)

Promised you guys I would get some pics up of my new project. It needs quite a bit of work as you will be able to see, but that's why it's a project car lol.

So....you think you'll have it done by the weekend?
Looks like you found something that'll keep you off the streets for a while!
But it'll sure be nice when it's done.

Thats the one you got for $800? Nice deal. For me that would be 20K and two years of work before it saw the road again. You should start a build thread as soon as you get started. I hope you know someone with mad metal working skillz.

I actually do know someone with the skills lol. My dad has been a welder for 30+ years. I will buy all new panels and he will weld in the ones that need it.

Just a heads up. I don't know you or your dad but any body man will tell you the welding of the metal is less then 10 percent of the work on a restoration. Maybe you should think about some research on what you are getting into.

This is a good place to start. This video will show you the basics of pannel prep and alignment and some good info on how to make the car better then factory at resisting future rust. It will also show you some finishing. There are a lot of better video for finishing. It is a good investment. I would also recomment the rest of the paintucation video they will help you with the areas that do not need patch.
