Hey guys just wanted your opinion I have a 91 z28, last week it rained here and I took a turn to fast, and scraped up my front end in a ditch, would you buy a BRA to cover it up until I can get enough money to take it to the body shop or, should I try some touch up paint? thanks and merry x-mas everyone!

 

You ever paint before? If no, I would recomend the bra. If you need to paint it, use 400 grit sand paper to scuff it up and then spray your pigment. Use 1000 grit sand paper to get it smoothed out. It will be cloudy. Then spray your clear and again wet sand it with 1000 grit sand paper and then hit it with a high speed wheel to get it even and glossy.

 

How bad are your scrapes? Through the paint? If not maybe you can just rub it with some compound and polish. Or cover it up with some flames!

 

lol, while your puttin on flames, maybe you could put some sweet numbers on the side and a DuPont decal on the sides and hood.

but like mike said, if it hasnt messed up the paint to bad, you MAY be able to buff it out or take it out with some rubbing compound and a little elbow grease. I would recomend at least TRYING that before painting. Even if it dont work, its only a few bucks lost, and you may use it again sometime down the road.

well its the groun effect, which im not worried about but the most paint off is around my pass side fog light and front turn signal
