Yeah, or if the timing is way off it will affect engine temp too. Have you been able to have it run long enough to where you could throw a timing light on it? It would be good to see where your mark is at. If your timing chain is way loose, at idle you should see your timing mark bounce erratically.

Ahh, I'll put a light on it, I've never timed anything before. When I say I have timed it 5 times I mean I've put cylinder 1 to tdc and put my rotor in accordingly, but I havn't put a light on it yet. Do engines usally run this awful before having a light on them. I ask because it ran really well before all this crap, and I never put a light on it, it ran smooth and perfectly. But now it won't.

I put a light on it and the mark was jumping probably a half inch back and forth.
