Default newbie

what up i just got a 88 camaro that is fuel injected and want to do my first mods. thinking of wires, plugs, intakke manifold with k&n air filter plus headers and exuast. jus tnot sure what brand to get or anything, i oming from 4 bangers to v-8 with the want to learn.

Welcome to the forum. The v8 responds to the same mods that a four banger does so you should be at home once you get familiar with the layout. Go with a good tune up first to get a good baseline (plugs, wires,filters, etc). Then open up the exhaust and intake to let the engine brathe better, put larger runners on the TPI. After this you can start getting serious, change heads and camshaft, porting work, upgrade injectors, etc.. If you do major mods, the PCM will have to be retuned.

cool deal thanks for the reply. i'm also not go for big numbers want to hit atleast 12's.
