Im pretty sure my car needs a new starter today was the coldest its been and it wouldnt start at all, the battery and alternator have been replaced within the past 6months. About how much do starters cost and how difficult are they to put in?

A new starter should cost you anywhere from $120 and up depending on where you get it. Go to Autozone or your local auto parts store to get one. As for difficulty to install it depends. It helps if you have a lift because it is basically on the underside of your motor. It can be done in a driveway but since its so damn cold outside its gonna be harder.

If it will last me til summer ill probably wait and just get it put on when i do some of the mods...

I live in Michigan and I know what you mean by cold. Trust me it may just be the cold getting to your engine because the other morning my little 4 banger daily driver wouldn't start and its a 2002 with only 30,000 miles on it. The bitter cold and wind do a number on cars that sit outside...

Yeah, your probably right that and the fact of the all the damn ice we got, the weird thing is its been cold like 1 or 2 degrees and its started right up before, and i took it out last night just for a little joy ride...i dunno hopefully it is the just the cold, ive got better things to buy for the guy than that.

Perhaps a block heater woulfd be in order? Might help with the early morning cold starts. You might even be able to find one that was offered as a dealer option if you look hard enough.

before it was brought in the right blinker light was on, not blinking but on, meaning it ddint work, now theres a little blue light like for high beams in between the blinkers, i have never seen this light on before in the year ive had it. I recently upgraded the headlights could this have made a loose connection for my blinker? or possibly a blown fuse? thanks
