dosent belong in a Camaro forum, let alone the third gen section. but hey. cars are cars right? Weve got a 68 chevy C20 that we have had since new. Weve always wanted it to be 4X4. This truck gets stuck on flat ground in a inch of mud.. no joke. Anyway, i came across a 1980 Silverado 2500. Its got the HEAVY 14 bolt rear with a 10 1/2" ring gear. I wish i could put that thing in the camaro. Its obviously 4X4 as well. Regular cab, long bed. This thing was BARELY worth the 500 bucks we paid for it. The body is junk, motor dosent run either. But its got the t400 and that rear end. Plus the 4X4 going for it. Were probably just going to swap bodies from the 68 to the 80. Depending on how well it lines up, we may have to have the frame shortened a bit. Depending on where its long. Ill try and get some pics of the two trucks in the next day or so.

BTW.. i noticed i said we and weve a lot. By that i mean my Dad and me. His Dad bought the 68, came from the farm which we no longer have. So its one of a few pieces left of the farm.
