Default The New Car's got some things

Hey, I just bought a 1991 Camaro RS w/305 TBI and it is a beautiful machine. There are some minor things that I dont know much about how to fix/mod. The rpms tend to fluctuate a little; I have heard that it is due to the TBI "Batches of Fire" but i dont know. Also Has anyone taken a tow bar off? If so How is the best way to approach it?
Thanks.

do the rpms fluctuate at idle? A little is normal. If it is while you are driving and in overdrive it could be the temp sensor for the computer. Believe it or not but it causes the computer to take the car in and out of overdrive. I know this because I had it happen to mine.
As for the trailer hitch. It most likely has bolts fished through holes in the rails. and nuts holding it on. take the nuts off and try to fish the bolts out with a magnet or put the nuts back on so the bolts wont rattle.

Also I had a question to anyone that knows, whenever i am off the gas the rpms go way down and i have stalled it in reverse twice and approaching a stoplight once. The idle speed is right around where it should be: 600-650 RP; so I dont know what the hell is going on. I had no idea stalling an automatic was so easy. Anyways if no one replies ill probably just run a diagnostics wither way.
thanks in advance.

And no check engine light? A good thing to do when you get a used car would be to go over everything and checkmit all out. change the fuel filter.
