New car!!
Just bought an 85 iroc with a 383. The guy says its pushing out 425 hp. Its got ***** but i dont know about 425. My buddy recommended doing a compression test to make sure im running stong on all 8 but i have no idea how to do that. How do I do a compression test and what do i need to do it?
you need a compression tester, available at any parts store, all you do is pull the plug wire and plug out of one cylinder, install the tester and get a buddy to crank the engine over. also disconnect the coil wire so the engine doesnt start, you should see around 160psi if its a good engine.
