Default new 2 site tire n rim question

hello all im Pat from RiceLake WI andjust p/u a very sharp 85 z28 im saying its nice but has the wrong rims so mcan some1 tell me the proper tire and rim size all around i want after market rims but the true size is important thanx

stock rim size was availible in 15" and 16". stock tire size im not sure. i would say just pick a nice set of tires available for your size rim.

Stock tire size with the 16" rims at least is 245/50, not sure about 15" though.

x2... Forget about the 15's Bro, much better off with the 16's W/ 245/ 50/ ZR16 for stockers that is. Well, atleast in my opinion. Now as for those aftermarket rims? I'd atleast go 18's fo sho. But, jus between you and me...? I'm actually gonna go with 20" Chrome Iroc Replicas. Saw a few of them online and it looked absolutely SICK to me. But, to his own i always say

I don't like huge rims myself. On a 3rd-gen, 16s are big enough, maybe 17s at a stretch.

20s are just ugly unless they're on a 'vette.

agreed. i went from 18" chrome to 15" honey combs from a firebird

Aw... DAM! party poopers. Nah, jus kiddin Bros But, as you can see... One, prefers 15's, the other prefers 16~17...ish and I prefer 20's[Ugly...? LOL ]. It's all about personal preference Pat. So yeah, here's a food for thought... Try asking your girlfriend AND her friends which one looks nicer. Enough said

stock size for 15's is 235/60/15

thanx every1 i am a drag racer by heart so not really into the 20'sironically the car is agift for the wife she loves and is waiting for it to be finisded
put new brakes lines fuel lines calipers rotors and brand new 350 with a little cam so she can burn up road if she wants what is the back space on the rims? i would to find a set of 90's rs rims
