Needed: one third-gen Camaro expert
Tim Suddard, the publisher of Grassroots Motorsports, has found himself as both a sponsor and entrant in LeMons, using an '87 Camaro of dubious merit as his entry:

http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/new...epatitis-z.php
He's got a seriously impressive team willing to join in his madness, but what he really wants is a Camaro expert on board. Call it a ringer, an expert witness, or whatever, but he wants somebody who really, truly, deeply knows Camaros, specifically 80s F-bodies, and is really plugged into the online Camaro community, so they can quickly find an answer to whatever obscure Camaro question he may come up with.
So, if you - or someone you know - want to be on a LeMons team, know everything there is to know about Camaros, and revel in the lunacy of the whole idea, send your info, qualifications, and mental health certificate (as required) to baxter@grassrootsmotorsports.com
Thanks!

RE: Needed: one third-gen Camaro expert
I'm a newbie myself but I think racing in the LeMons series is a great Idea!! The basic bodies and parts are so cheap right now they really lend themselves to comepetitive events where performance counts but you might get wrecked alot. (or have pigshaped objects welded to the roof)
I was wondering the other day if anyone drifts these cars

Give up trying to apply Arizona. I would think when they ask for your mental health cert they want to see it not with a red stamp saying "INSANE" on it.
Remember, insane bad...sane good

You have to read the above links that Baxter posted to get the welded pig comment..
I normally don't weld anything like that to my cars, here's a pic of one of my non Chevys
