alright so im looking into buying a new ride for the summer. hopefully early as next week, im stuck between the 4th gen 6 speed 350, a 87 tpi 350, and a carbed 84 iroc with a "355" which what im ASSUMING is a boared 350? and maybe even an 87 vette, can anyone give me the hp and torque for this "355" ive been looking around all over for it? and even throw in some pros and cons for this models and personal opinions, thatd be great, thanks !

 

the only way to really know stuff like that is take it to a dyno. a 355 is a .030 over bored 350. personally, i would go with the 4th gen with the t56 over a carbed iroc or an 87 vette. its all about personal preference

since i dont know the year of the 4th gen, the things to look out for are the optispark if its an LT1. also know that in 1995 they had an OBD1.5. this means you cannot scan it with a normal scanner. its an OBD1 computer with an OBDII port.

 

i agree i just sold an 86 vett they suck,and how do you know it is a 355 it would look just like a 305 or 350 people lie if no pappers to prove it pass it buy.i knew a guy who had a nice 1979 mustang pace car he had a 302 in it and when he sold it it became a 347,but it was the same motor like i said people lie
