I was doing my water pump tonight (leaked from the block, just enough to annoy me...) and Im tired of my jimmy rigged power steering pump bracket. When I got the car, someone had 'fabricated' a bracket and its always been a little off. Id love to just rip one out of a junk yard, but in the dead of winter here in New York, thats not gonna happen. Anybody got any ideas for a stock replacement?
Oh, and what size is the fan on the 82 Z28? I measured 18". I want to go to a new flex fan but Id hate to order a replacement and find its 17.5 or 18. sumthing......

Where in the hell were you when I had that crap laying around my garage. I gave my pump and bracket away.
Just thought you would like to hear that.
I installed a serpintine kit wich came with all new stuff less AIR pump and had all the left overs laying around for a long time.
