i got a 91 rs 305. its a tbi as you probably know, but what i need to know is if the internals are all stock will it handle a dry 100 shot of nos? if not what is the max i could run safely?

 

It will handle a 100 shot with no problem as long as it is in good condition.

 

it would definatly handle it. I read an article in Car Craft where they took a junkyard stock 350 and they put nitrous on it to see how much it could handle. they got up to a 400 shot of nitrous before they cracked a piston.

 

The Biggest Problem With Running NOS Is The Piston Rings. Stock Piston Rings Will Melt At A Relatively Low Temp. I Would Not Push It With A 100 Shot. Stay With A 50 To 75. The Bigger The Shot ... The Bigger The Bang ... The Hotter The Flame. Sick
