RE: My 91 RS
sounds like you got ripped the hell off. i recently got an 89 RS with a 305 for 600, and it only needed brakes and and 2 fenders. sounds like you got yourself a little money pit, but thats ok too.

hey sounds like fun. not the money part but the stuff you have to do. I recently got an IROC myself and it needed Tranny work brakework and a couple of other little things. the big problem.... it had been blasted in the rearend a couple of years ago and never fixed now I dont know if it can be fixed but I am hoping.

RE: My 91 RS
Well when I got the car...I knew the heater core was bad and the trans cooler lines. Once I got it to the shop i noticed the master cylinder was shot too...Since then...Once I finished one thing...another thing kept braking....So at this point after Im done with the list of things I gotta do, and something else still breaks I quit (unless it's not a big problem...lol)

RE: My 91 RS
sounds about right. just keep your patience and it'll pay off in the end y'know......just keep your mind on the task at hand and if you break something in the process forget about it until your done with what you are doing. unless you need it for the project at hand

RE: My 91 RS
The heater core is a real pain in the ***...I have the whole dash torn out...Before I tore the dash apart I though I coulda bypassed that whole route becuase I found the heater box. One I losened the screws to that and pulled a lil bit...i snapped it into 3 pieces. So Im gonna JB weld it tomorrow and It'll be good as new. Im taking my camera to school tomorrow so Ill take pictures of the car and what Im talking about....

RE: My 91 RS
I got the new heater core in! It was a pain in the *** to do but I got it done. When I was under the car tho...I realized that the drain plug for the radiator was lose so after if drained it out and installed new coolent..It was all good. I tried the heat out tho and I was still pumping out some cold air...Prolly because the car hasn't heated up yet and that I still gotta put the Dash back together. So monday morning bright n' early I'll be putting my dash back together. I found a gauge cluster on E-Bay that I bidded on..I just gotta wait like a day till the Bid ends. Im just pretty happy that I got that thing done but still dredding all the other **** I gotta do...Oh well, It'll be an adventure.. =)
