Default Moving up... 305 to 350

Hello,

I currently have an 89 RS that spun a bearing in the 305 TBI. To keep this a simple swap, I am moving to a 350 TBI. I found a 350 TBI out of a 90 Silverado that I am having completely rebuilt before putting into my Camaro.

Has anyone out there done this swap? What am I going to run into?

Many, many questions... Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Thanks!

What about the throttle body itself? I believe they are the same, but I'm not sure.

if in doubt try to fit the components from your 305 tb should be the same or close enough that it should'nt matter as for sensors etc use the 305 ones as the others may send signals out of range of the originals and give up fault codes otherwise just a afternoons work

I yanked the locked up 305 in my 92rs and went to Kragen and bought 350 for 92z28 and dropped it in, no problems, that was like 5 years ago, still runs good

Thanks Guys! I'm going to pick up the 350 on Monday afternoon, and I'll take it to my local machine shop on Tuesday. Hoping for a simple switch...
