lt1 and t5

pickin up my lt1 this weekend. i know the bellhouseing will mate up fine to the block as is, but will everything else work ok? as far as transmission to motor mateing goes? and is it still the same size clutch?

performance and driveability wise i wouldnt do it,theres a reason they came with t56(6speeds),i dont know how long a t5 could handle it.

oh i know. that T5 had problems with the old 350 i had. but it will do untill i can get either a t-56 or a TKO behind it. Ill just have to drive easy. Its the same way with the rear end.

You say you're gonna drive it easy... No you aren't. It always goes that way, but you're gonna romp on it too hard at some point in time, and that T5 is gonna be in pieces on the side of the road....
