i am looking to buy rims for my 86 rs will 8inch wide rims be ok to run front and rear, will i have any rubbing problems? please help!

 

Well I don't know about early third gens, but I am pretty sure that the later third gens were 8 in. up front and rear. There should be an easy way to figure out though. Look at the inside of the rim to find out what size you have. Most will be stamped as to what they are (like 15x8, or something like that). You can always try either www.tirerack.com or www.discounttiredirect.com to see what fits the vehicle. Let me know if you need something else.
