Default lil help with 92

Hi forum,im jason from tn,new to forums but sure ill be here often, just bought a 92 rs tbi 305,140,000 miles,,its a little rough,,,,car runs good,,just has an idling issue and is running super rich, like eye watering rich, idle stays at about 1500 rpm, which is entirely too high of an idle.,just wondering,,anyone else have this problem before,,checked all vac hoses, well what i could seeanyway, which sensors would cause this,if any,,,,any help would be greatle appreciated.
Also as you can tell,,it needs a dashpad amongst other things,if anyone has one of these they dont want a fortune for,,email me(meshawn34@yahoo.com),they dont sell crap in aftermarket exterior and interior stuff for these cars i see,any good links would be appreciated as well.

Is the check engine lite lit? If it is lit, pull the trouble code. If it is not lit, check for vacuum leaks, check idle control valve, check throttle valve linkage for binding & make sure it is closing fully.

i have a similar problem. Ive changed the TPS, IAC, vaccume hoses, plugs, fuel pressure regulator. You name it. i cannot for the life of my figure it out. If you manage to let me know.

And about the smog pump. i dont think youll throw any codes by making it inoperable. Good luck. HOWEVER, if your area needs safety or emissions inspections, you will not pass.

The reason no one has come right out and said this is whats wrong is because your description is not detailed enough. There are dozens of things that can cause what you described. Nornally high idle is cause by extra aircoming in from somewhere. Rich condition generaly means something in the fuel systemis not working right. Butwithout a check engine lite that means either someone pulled the bulb or the computer does not know anything is wrong. Tho you did try to give details you might as well said "my car runs Bad whats wrong with it"

So, It could be anything from a bad O2 sensor and a hard to see crack in the brake boost vacuumline.Toa semi fried CPU with a cracked intake and a plug converter. Est repair costs will be between $27.00-$2500.00+

I am curious about one thing. What coloris the inside of the exhaust tips?I am wondering about"like eye watering rich"For me eye watering comes from a lean condition.
