Default light Issues.

Hey guys,

So, when I pull out the switch for the lights, my driver's side headlight comes on, but the passenger's side is barely lit. (It's really dim). Also, my taillights don't come on either. They light up when i hit the brakes, so it's not the bulbs, they just won't light up for nighttime driving Ideas?

clean all your grounds for the lights. sounds very much like a bad ground either at the light socket or the ground strap. check for loseness and rust also look the wires over. sometimes the light sockets get streched and/or worn, the light doesnt get a good conection.

Replace the headlight. Also you have three bulbs each in the taillight assembly. The brake light bulbs is different then the other two.

Al my headlights are brand new, and it doesn't seem likely that all 6 of my taillights could fail at the same time, whenm it's stops raining I'll go check the fuses and hit the conecters w/ some elecrtical terminal cleaner.

Unless you are POSTIVE the bulbs are good and not guessing you are going to be running in circles trying to find a problem in the electrical. So you can do the hard part first since you know it all. Good luck........

"Since you know it all"...that's a comedic statement right there!
Has anybody ever told you that your belittling attitude sucks? Oh wait, more than one member has in the past.
McGnrAcDcfan227, there are plenty of helpful people out here. And I'm sure you'll also learn who's comments you can ignore as well, if you haven't already figured it out by now.

Helpful hint, check all your wiring first good advice . I will still stick to my belitting advice about checking the bulbs FIRST. Never assume anything.

Do you have dash lights? Side marker and front park lights?
