Default Just Bought a '91, experiencing problems

I just bought a '91 Camaro (V6), and it drives fine until I decelerate, and then it sometimes wants to kill the engine unless I put it in neutral to slow down while giving it gas, or give it a little gas while I'm braking. Usually after the stop, if the engine doesn't die, it's fine, but when I try to go again, it'll sputter a bit, and I have to play with the pedal to get it back going. Can anyone help me?

yeah it could be that there is some problem with the fuel system, try checking the fuel filter. it could also be the spark plugs

My dad was thinking the same thing, and him being a good mechanic, was going to do a tuneup this weekend. Hopefully that'll take care of everything. The Service Engine Soon light is not on.

If The Service Engine Light Isn't On It Isn't Anything Related To The ECU. Good Chance A Tuneup Will Do The Trick. Sick

If the tune up does't help, try changing the Idle Conrol Valve (IAC). This valve controls the idle speed and can get crudded up and stop working properly.
