Default Injectors

I've got an '88 with a 305 TBI. I just recently replaced the tank with a new one, as it had the original tank in it with an unreal amount of rust that ultimately resulted in my injectors being clogged.

My question is, would I be able to replace those with a pair of injectors from an LT1 350? Buddy of mine's got 8 spares sitting in his garage.

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I wanted to know for sure. Those aren't the cheapest things in the world. Thanks though man.

No they most certainly are not cheap. And TB always seem to be gone at the pick-a-parts. Try Craigslist.org in your area. You can also post a wanted there.

Definitely. I've got to replace those and another part and it should fire up. It's a part time project of mine, and something to help me learn more about cars. Before I got it, I knew next to nothing about auto repair, but I've come a long way.

I have greater plans once I get a little coin saved up, and will likely be making some future posts here.

Don't be a stranger!
Also you can look for TBI injectors in Chevrolet and GMC trucks from 87+
