4 link would be good if you are going to do full drag racing only, but the factory style is well adapted to holding up. i suggest boxxed lower control arms, tubular track bars, and a tubular panhard bar. theyre much stronger and wont bend under the high torque forces at work in the rear

ok,bro,,,an easy 500 hp in a 3rd gen???
1. start w/a solid base 383 stroker..4-bolt zz-4 chevy crate,longblock or complete(the new zz based 383 injected crate maakes 485hp right out the box)
from there its all bolt ons up to and past 500hp easy..
headers,exaust
your choice of intake ,carb,ign an all
or go advanced as they say and nject that beatch,update the ecu to an obd2 type
w/all that done add a flashable chip/w/power programmer.
bowtieoverdrives out of cali sells the 700r4 built to your spec for less than 1800$....
rear end....you choose....
the 9" is bulletproof and theres many places selling a complete rear kit that bolts rght in brakes and all...
