LOL... I AM WATCHING CSI MIAMI RIGHT NOW! ok back to the point....i got a 1990 Iroc z 5.7 litre T.P.I 111XXX miles i called the guy and he said it is a ZZ4 cam and its been in there for about four thousand miles

fuel pressure regulator is on the back of the fuel rail. Follow the return line. I think you can see it if you remove the cover over the distributer. Maybe some one installed an adjustable one and never got it right or its stuck

I dont mean to be a pain in the a** but all these solutions still lead me back to the same question if it were something like the regulator or injectors then it wouldn't run perfect when it is cold it would run like **** all the time....right?

i had this problem with my car but it was a carb. my timing was soo screwed up. i turned the distributor a lot before it ran right. but your timing is most likely different. i would check it anyways.

dude, even if it idles ok, it might be your injectors, they might be working fine at that amount of voltage and rpm through them but if you rev them more and more volts go to them, they are just little solenoids, and they have to pop open like 150 times a second, so at idle when they are not going very fast they might be fine, but at high revs they might just crap out, but hey what do us people know...
