I was just pondering what i would be able to get for my car if i decided to sell it.

-1992 camaro z28
-black
-z28 spoiler
-T-tops
-V8 5.0 TPI
-104,000 miles
-auto
-k+n air filters
-flowmaster muffler

Needs
-new starter
-new heater core
-t top weatherstripping on passenger side
-i think it might need shocks or struts

 

Start with the Blue Book value and check the sales in your area for the same type of cars. Winter is a bad time for selling any type of Camaro/Firebird unless you live in a mild climate..

 

with out looking at blue books im guessing that you could probably get at least 2500.00 out of it .

2500 if u fix the problems. u wont get more than a 1000 as ti is.

 

I know it is, but I'm broke and in need of a Camaro. I'd say it's probably worth at least $2k. In all seriousness, though, I may still be interested in buying if I can convince my whole family to get together on one big Christmas present, if you actually plan to sell it in the near future, and I'm only about 40 miles from southern central PA. Lemme know if you decide on a price?

 

so somebody out here where i live offered me 10k for my car the other day... its just an 89 RS aftermarket 350 TBI. Hooker headers and exhaust. Thats just about it. I have the IROC hood on it, and SOME iroc suspension, but thats 100% it. Hes gettin raped but hell, if hes offerin that kind of money for my car. ITS SOLD! ive got an SS lined up for 9k. I remind you, i didnt say i wanted that much, he asked if it was for sale, i said depends on how much youd give me, he told me 10k. AND he was serious about it. I about crapped my pants.

 

I checked the blue book value for it and it said good condition was $3300, and fair condition was $2700. I estimate my car is inbetween those two conditions so i think about $3000 which is what i thought in the first place

 

I hate to break it to you, but a no start car is in poor condition according to blue book pricing no matter what. That and it needs suspension work? You'd have to find someone pretty stupid to sell that for anywhere close to what you're asking.
