if you guys can tell me this this would be very helpful...How much mpg do these models get?
Third generation. and tell me whats the best for mpg ...I know it depends on engine and such but lets say a 350 stock? I'm guessing The iroc has the worst. But any info Would be great thanks guys!

There are so many different variables to consider. If it is the same motor the body style is not going to make it different. You have to look at the rear gears, properly inflated tires, driving style, state of tune. You may even think more horse power means more fuel consumption but that is not nessesarily true. More HP less throtle to accelerate.

 

I know all about that...The tires, WOT, and body styles...I just wanted a General Idea.

 

In general, the third gen cars, especially the early ones, weren't known for economy, but gas was cheap back then and no one cared about mileage.

 

Do they really get like 15mpg?

 

from experience with my 3.1 liter prolly i only get like 22 i think if im lucky

I'm a newbie, thinking of buying a 3rd Gen 350 and since I'm a student the gas mileage is important. So I would appreciate any extra info on the topic.

 

RS v6 3.1 liter- city 17 mpg
highway 27 mpg
the others arent much difference maybe 2 mpg difference

 

My 305 gets anywhere between 15-18...
