how much HP would i get out of my 2.8L if i put some performance cam+ lifters, intake, exhaust, cold air intake( if i could find one for the 2.8)?
What else can i put in?
i saw a stroker kit on www.engine-parts.com for the 2.8 would that help???

i would guess not a whole lot, you cant get a whole lot of power otu of a v6 like you can an 8, to my knowledge anyway

My opinion is, I think you'd be wasting your money by putting money in to a 2.8L motor. I'd put my money into getting a 350 for it.

 

I fooled arounf with 2.8 s for a while, and the problem is that the engine is too small for the weight of the car. With headers, CAI and a cam you can get up to about 170 HP, which is still not going to move a Camaro in any hurry, but it will mess up the driveability. Just keep the engine in good tune and use it as daily driver and enjoy.

 

actually i was just curious to see what my old engine can do, i'm actually in the early process of dropping a 350 in. i did what z28pete told me and found a doner car to save $$$ on parts
