my plug wires make noise. they have a solid core and when the cars running they send a certain fequency to my radio and out my speakers. i thought it was wierd but my dads car had the same wires and did the same thing. when i get car back together ill tape it for you guys, since you prolly think im full of s***.
Was it like a really high pitched whine? My old '89 Silvy had it's stock radio and this high pitched whine/whistling sound would come out of the speakers when ever I was accelerating, it wasn't loud, and if I had music playing you usually couldn't notice it much, but yeah. Never found out what caused it.

the noise in your radio can be fixed for under 10$ with a resistor cehck crutchfield or any other car stereo place.

Well I don't actually have it anymore. It was stolen in Aug. 06 out of my school parking lot on the first day of school and I never saw it again[&o]. But thanks though, haha.

The wirewas probably hanging loose or had bad insulation and arching to ground. That makes a pretty goodsnapping sound and gives a good light show in the dark.

Solid core wires and non resistor spark plugs create electromagnectic noise thatinterferes withradio reception. This can also interfere with sensor signals and cause the computer to act funny. However, they are useful when you need all the spark energyacross the spark plug gap.
