So yeah... can i get a guestimate on the HP with the input you're going to put in, and also a good trans. cause mine needs to be replaced...badly

Well get the Tranny fixed first. (A big buck item depending whats wrong with it).
Also you are high on the HP estimate, 230 stock for 88 350TPI.
The easy wayy to increase Hp would be:
Headers 1 3/4
New hi-flow cat 3"in/out
3' catback exhaust (mandrel bent pipes)
SLP style intake runners
These bolt on should give you about 20 to 40 HP over stock.

Plus a good tune up with new plugs, wires and etc. Will make sure you have the HP that came stock.
I would wait unstill you need a rebulid before the Heads & Cam and complete the above first. My opinion.

Try Summit or Jegs, they have good assortments. In essence there are two types of headers, shorties and long tube. The shorties are easier to install but produce less low end power than the long tube. The materials and coatings used affect longevity , but have little effect on power produced, although ceramic coated headers are claimed to produce a few extra horses. I doubt that it will be noticed by the butt dyno. As for power output, one make is about as good as the other, but there are big differences in quality, and you get what you pay for.
