I would assume no because in 85 the ring gear got larger on the Camaros. Most likely S10 were included. Maybe you can look up a gear set on Summitracing.com and there when you find what fits your car there is a link to click that says something like "will this fit my application" and it gives a big list of aplicattions.
Be patient and keep looking. the right part will come along.

Still on your quest for the 3:73 ratio. S10 gears, well they are from a GM 10-bolt and are 7.625 dia and your present 7.500 Dia gears are the same thing and are interchangeable. If you have a 2-series set up now andyou are correct about the need for a spacer. Not the best choice, but it will work if do not abuse the rear. My opinion is if you did not do any gear change before you may encounter problems and also I do not favor changing something that is not broke,

1985 was the first use of the 3:73 7.625 dia ring gear in the Monte Carlo. If I know GM they did not change many of the common drivetain parts, so the gears from that cars 10-bolt should work with aspacer. Cost of install with parts, spacer (expensive) and labor I estimate about $500+ depending on where you live. Good luck on your continuing quest.[sm=gears.gif]
